French Toast Sticks

Tastier than regular French toast, that's for sure! When I was little, I would get French toast sticks in a thermos for school lunches on a special day, and it was my favourite! So here’s my recipe!

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • Bread (I like to use GF cinnamon raisin) ~ approx. 6-8 slices of bread

  • 2 eggs

  • 2/3 cup oat milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

  • pinch of salt

Instructions: Cut bread into strips (~ 3 strips per slice of bread). Heat the skillet/pan to medium heat and add coconut oil or ghee. Soak strips of bread in French toast batter, flipping so all sides soak up! Cook in the pan for a couple of minutes per side till they look cooked through and delish! Serve!
